Cookies
Recallory uses a small amount of browser storage so the app can sign you in and remember where you left off. It does not use advertising cookies. The privacy page describes the account and library data stored on the server.
Required for sign-in
Firebase Authentication stores a session in the browser. Without it, Recallory cannot tell that you are signed in. Clearing site data signs you out.
Saved on this device
- The course and unit you last selected, so the sidebar can reopen them
- Whether you dismissed the install notice
- A review queue and ratings saved on the device when you study offline, until they sync
Measurement
When the browser allows it, Recallory loads Firebase Analytics. Google may set cookies to count visits and basic page use. This is not used to build an advertising profile. You can block analytics cookies in the browser. The study library still works.
Your choices
Browser settings can block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking the sign-in storage means you will need to sign in again, and offline review progress stored only on this device can be lost before it syncs.
